Go slow and meticulously when re-installing the airbox base.
Make sure the crank-vent hose is pulled up tight in its hole, it has a tendency to rub on the throttle linkage and prevent full opening.

A very simple way to improve rideability, just pulling the noid's cable from the linkage really drops throttle force.
The effect of tying the throttle cams together is most noticeable at the top-end.

thanks for your help I got it done. I am now waiting on the by-pass now. How do you reset your TPS. I seem to have developed a studier from 1700 rpm to 2000 rpm and then it takes off, if I drop the throttle quick the rpm drops below 1000 rpm for a second then back up. I am thinking I have to reset my TPS?
Also do you how to reset the service now counter. The stupid thing is bugging me, I have the manuals and can't seem how to do it.
I thank you for all your help

IIRC, to reset the Service Counter, go into Set-up mode by pressing Mode and Select WHILE the motor is running.
NOTE: to enter Diagnostic Mode, press the same 2 buttons AS you turn the switch to RUN or PARK.

Cycle thru the options until you come to the Svc Counter and hold the (Select I think?) button for a couple of seconds and it will reset.
